Welcome to Centennial Farm on the Ridge. We are ecstatic to have you following along with our journey. Centennial Farm has been a long awaited venture of ours. We believe that an important factor in choosing a venue for your next special event is building a relationship with those you will be working closely with. With that, it is our hope that you feel as if you already know us before your visit to the farm.
We are Austin and Kelsey Granby. Married in 2020, we fell into the wedding industry and discovered a connection and passion for weddings. As Austin and I began collecting items for our own wedding, we soon realized how inconvenient buying and storing decor can be. With this realization, we decided to go out on a whim and begin Without A Hitch Event Decor Co. Over the past four years, I (Kelsey) have been operating Without A Hitch while previously working as a special education teacher. As I dived further into the wedding industry, I have diversified Without A Hitch and now offer day of coordination as well as decor rentals. When visiting venues and working with fellow vendors, we quickly realized that we wanted a deeper involvement in the event industry. With Austin's background in agriculture and entrepreneurial spirit, his goal has always been to continue a love of agriculture and small business in future generations. Living in rural Grundy county, Austin and I saw a need for event venues in the area and searched for the perfect property. In October of 2022, the opportunity we had been awaiting appeared. Austin and I were introduced to a farmstead in rural Grand Ridge, Illinois with a picturesque barn where many local events have been hosted in the past. Our goal is to preserve this space and return it to its former glory while providing a functional space for your next event.
As we grow our own family at Centennial Farm, it is our goal to nurture the growth of your family as you tie the knot and celebrate life's greatest moments at the farm.
